Senior AV Technician

Please note this is NOT an IT position, nor graphic designer, it's a Lead Field technical/manager experienced on audio and video installations and configuring networks along with working and managing technicians on the field.

ForceAV is a unique Audio/Video and Home Automation/Integration company seeking talented, experienced, motivated installers to compliment a strong field installation team dedicated to excellent quality of work. The office is located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The ideal person for this position possesses ALL the qualifications below, preferably has been, or is troubleshooting, installing and programming AV gear and racks, and has strong, related experience to bring to the table. Need to be able and willing to work on-site either helping with installs or programing.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, take initiative and solve problems efficiently, demonstrate above average written, verbal and telephone skills in dealing with team members, Builders, and customers. Must be able to manage multiple on-going jobs as well as working on the field together with the technicians. This is imperative. This is not an office desk job.

• Control 4 Programming Certified
• Lutron Programming Knowledge
• Savant Program Knowledge
• System Troubleshooting and Diagnostics Skills
• Audio/Video and Home Theater installations
• Networking and Computer Experience
• Distributed Audio
• Surveillance Camera Systems
• Able to wire/terminate Cat 5/6 cables
• Capable of effectively communicating with staff and customers.
• Must have a clean Florida drivers license.
• Must have a clean criminal background.
• Drug Free Work Place
• Must have reliable transportation
• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing and lifting up to 80lbs
• Work off of a ladder
